(Children must be three years old by September 1, 2010)

 

Non-Refundable Registration Fees

5 Full Days (Monday - Friday).................................................................................... $143.00

5 Half Days (Monday - Friday)…….. (Half-day children must be picked up by 12:00 p.m.)......... $97.00

PM Care Daily Rate… (Half day children who occasionally stay in the p.m.)……………….....….. $19.00

 

Policy on Absenteeism

 

1. When you register your child to attend HBDS, you are registering for the entire year, August 2010 through August 2011, (dates subject to change). This is a year round program.

 

2.  During the course of the year, you will be allowed 10 days for which you do not have to pay to hold your child's space in our program. (Those who register later in the year will be given a prorated amount of days.)

 

3.  You may use these days for a holiday like President's Day, during Christmas break, if your child is sick, for vacation, etc.

 

4.  After the 10 days have been used up, you will be required to pay the half-day weekly rate ($97.00) for any full weeks (All 5 days)  that your child does not attend in order to hold their place in our program. This includes the Christmas weeks, the Spring Break week and the summer weeks (unless you drop the child for the summer).

 

5.  If you wish to drop your child from our program, you must give us at least one week’s notice in writing. This notice must be delivered to the office not given to the teacher. You will be charged for this week whether the child comes or not.

 

6.  Weeks that have fewer days due to holidays will still be paid at the full weekly rate.  After vacation days are used up, any week when a child is absent one to four days, must be paid at the full weekly rate.

 

7.  I understand that I must sign my child in and out on the attendance clipboard every day and that I must sign my legal name in a legible way. These attendance sheets are used for billing.

 

 

 

Returned Check Policy

·There will be a $35.00 service charge on all returned checks. The school will not redeposit any returned checks.

·A cash payment for the returned check plus the $35.00 fee must be made to the school office within 48 hours of the notification of a returned check.

·If payment is not made within the 48-hour period, the child may not return to school until the payment has been made. The child will be considered dropped so that there will be no additional fees accumulating while the child is not attending.

·The child may only return after payment is made and if there is still an opening in the classroom.

 

 

Past Due Accounts

·The weekly fee is due in advance on Monday of each week. If the weekly fee is not paid by Friday of each week no later than 6:00pm, there will be a late payment fee of $5.00 assessed.

·If a child's account becomes 3 weeks overdue, the child will be dropped and will not be able to return to our program until complete payment has been made.

·If the child's place is filled before payment is made, the child may only return when a place becomes available.

·If you see that you are falling behind in your payments, the best thing to do is to make an appointment with the Administrator to discuss a payment plan (before you get three weeks behind).

 

 

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

Late Charges

The Half Day Program ends at 12:00 p.m.

The late fees for pick up past 12:00 p.m. will be:

$5.00 for every 15 minute period after 12:00 p.m. (up to $19.00)

 

Haverhill Baptist Day School closes at 6:00 p.m.

The late fees for pick up after 6:00 p.m. will be:

From 6:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.  $1.00 per minute

From 6:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  additional $1.50 per minute

From 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  additional $2.00 per minute

After two late pick ups, the late fee must be paid at time of

pick-up or before the child can return to school the next day.

 

 

Holidays

Haverhill Baptist Day School will be closed

on the following Holidays:

Independence Day – Monday, July 5th

Labor Day – Monday, September 6th

Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, November 25h

The day after Thanksgiving – Friday, November 26h

Christmas Holidays – Thursday & Friday, December 23rd, & 24th  

New Year’s Eve –  Friday, December 31st

Good Friday, April 22nd

Memorial Day - Monday, May 30th

Full weekly rate must be paid for Holiday weeks.
