“VPK Only” Program Information
Florida’s VPK program consists of 540 hours of instructional time. Our “VPK Only” program usually follows the public school calendar. Exact dates will be available in mid July.
Children who are signed up for “VPK Only” will not come to school on days VPK is not in session even if Haverhill Baptist Day School is open and in session.
“VPK Only” will be 180 – 3 hour days. The hours for “VPK Only” will be 8:30am to 11:30am. Children may not arrive before 8:20am and must be picked up by 11:30am.
The state pays for “VPK Only” and so there is no charge for the program as defined above.
If you wish for your child to come to school on days when “VPK Only” is not in session or if you need care before 8:20am or after 11:30am, then you must sign up for one of our VPK Plus programs.

I agree and will abide by the following:
· I understand that VPK only covers 180 days from 8:30am to 11:30pm and that my child will only be attending on days that VPK is in session.
· I understand that I may not bring my child before 8:20am and that I must pick up my child no later than 11:30am or I will be charged a late fee.
· I understand that I must register my child for the VPK Plus Program if I wish for my child to attend on days or hours not provided by VPK.
· I understand that there are additional fees for attendance on days when VPK is not in session or for bringing my child earlier than 8:20am or for picking up my child later than 11:30am.
· I understand that I am responsible to pay all fees that are not covered by VPK.
· I understand that if I incur additional fees for my child that I must pay these fees every week.
· I understand that if I fall more than 3 weeks behind in paying any additional fees that are owed to the school, my child may be asked to drop from the VPK program until the additional fees are paid in full.
· I understand that my child must be in attendance every day that VPK is in session unless he/she is sick and cannot attend. VPK only allows for 24 absences during the entire school year. I understand that if my child is absent more than 3 times in a month, I must provide a doctors note for any additional absences.
· I understand that I must sign my child in and out every day and that I must sign my legal name in a legible way. I further understand that I must sign the VPK attendance sheet every month.
