Preschool Three Program
(Children must be 3 years old before September 1, 2016)

Other Fees

Money for parties and special activities may be required throughout the year.

 

Subsidized Care Fees

Parents with children on subsidized care must add an additional $5.82 per day to their ELC parent fee.

When child turns four, parents must add an additional $6.08 to their ELC parent fee.

 

Policy on Absenteeism

5 Full Day and 5 Half Day Programs

  • When you register your child, you are registering for the entire year, Aug 2016 through Aug 2017. This is a year round program.
  • If you have registered for one of the 5 Day programs, during the course of the year, you will be allowed 5 days for which you do not have to pay to hold your child's space in our program (Those who register later in the year will be given a prorated amount of days). You may use these days for a holiday like President's Day, during Christmas break, if your child is sick, for vacation, etc.
  • After the 5 days have been used up, you will be required to pay the full weekly fee whether your child attends one, two, three, or four days in that week. If your child misses an entire week, you may pay the 5 day half day rate of $110.00 for that week. This includes the Christmas weeks, the Spring Break week and the summer weeks (unless you drop the child for the summer).
  • Weeks that have fewer days due to holidays will still be paid at the full weekly rate.  After vacation days are used up, any week when a child is absent one to four days, must be paid at the full weekly rate.
  • If you wish to drop your child from our program, you must give us at least one week’s notice in writing. This notice must be delivered to the office not given to the teacher. You will be charged for this week whether the child comes or not If you wish to re-register in the same school year or another school year, an additional registration fee must be paid.

3 Full Days and 3 Half Days Programs

  • There are no vacation days for the 3 Day Program. You must pay for the 3 days whether your child attends one, two or three days or none at all. This includes the two Christmas weeks, Spring Break week, summer weeks (unless you drop the child for the summer) and weeks with holidays in them.

Policy on Tardiness    IMPORTANT NEW POLICY!

  • All children must be in their classroom before 9:30am each day. 
  • After 9:30am, children will not be accepted for that day.
  • Children may be allowed to come in later than 9:30am if:
    1. Child had a doctor or dental appointment and the parent has a signed note from the doctor or dentist office.
    2. Parent has a WIC or ELC appointment and child must be in attendance. (proof required)
    3. Other important reasons may be excused; however this must be requested in advance. Requests must be made in the school office.

Past Due Accounts

  • The weekly fee is due in advance on Monday of each week. If the weekly fee is not paid by Friday of each week no later than 6:00pm, there may be a late payment fee of $5.00 assessed.
  • If a child’s account becomes 3 weeks overdue, the child will have to drop from our program and will not be able to return to until complete payment has been made. If the child’s place is filled before payment is made, the child may only return when a place becomes available.
  • If you see that you are falling behind in your payments, the best thing to do is to make an appointment with the Administrator to discuss a payment plan (before you get three weeks behind).

 Late Pick Up Charges

  • The Half Day Program is over at 12:00pm. There will be a late fee of: $1.00 per minute for every minute after 12:05pm.
  • The School closes at 6:00pm sharp. Parents should plan on being at the school no later than 5:55pm to pick up their child.  There will be a late fee of:  $2.00 per minute if a parent notifies the school of late pickup or $3.00 per minute if a parent does not notify the school of late pickup.

Holidays

Haverhill Baptist Day School will be closed in celebration of the following Holidays:

  • Independence Day – Monday, July 4th,
  • Labor Day – Monday, September 5th,
  • Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, November 24th,
  • Day after Thanksgiving – Friday, November 25th,
  • Christmas Eve- Friday, December 23rd,
  • Christmas Day – Monday, December 26th      
  • New Year’s Day- Monday, January 2nd,
  • Good Friday- April 14th,
  • Memorial Day – Monday, May 29th
