Registration Fee

VPK Plus Half Days … (Pick up at 12:30pm) ……… $33.00         VPK Plus Full Days ……………………$127.00

Full Day VPK with no VPK Certificate……. $197.00                    Half Day with no VPK Certificate …..$143.00

Additional Fees

Half day children who stay an occasional afternoon add $19.00 per day to the Weekly Rate
Money for parties and special activities may be required through-out the year
 
Subsidized Care Fees
Parents with children on subsidized care must add an additional $6.52 per day to their ELC parent fee.

 

Policy on Absenteeism

  • When you register your child to attend HBDS, you are registering for the entire school year which is the first day of school in August 2016 through the last day of school in June 2017.
  • If you wish to drop your child from our program, you must give us at least one week’s notice in writing. This notice must be delivered to the office not given to the teacher. You will be charged for this week of notice whether the child attends or not. If you wish to re-register in the same school year or another school year, an additional registration fee must be paid.
  • The yearly charge for VPK Plus full day care is $5,207.00.  You may pay this yearly fee in advance or you may pay this yearly fee in 41 weekly installment payments of $127.00. The 41 weeks include the two Christmas weeks, Spring Break week, weeks with holidays in them and the last week.
  • The 41 weekly installment payments must be made whether your child attends school or not. There are no vacation days in the VPK programs.
  • The yearly charge for VPK Plus half day care is $1,353.00. You may pay this yearly fee in advance or you may pay this yearly fee in 41 weekly installment payments of $33.00.  The 41 weeks include the two Christmas weeks, Spring Break week, weeks with holidays in them and the last week.
  • The 41 weekly installment payments must be made whether your child attends school or not. There are no vacation days in the VPK programs.
  • There will be a summer camp available for all VPK students in the months of June, July and early August. The fees for this camp will be announced in March 2017.

Returned Check Policy

  • There will be a $35.00 service charge on all returned checks. The school will not redeposit any returned checks. A cash payment for the returned check plus the $35 fee must be made to the school office within 48 hours of the notification of a returned check.
  • If payment is not made within the 48-hour period, the child may not return to school until the payment has been made. The child will be dropped so that there will be no additional fees accumulating while the child is not attending. The child may only return after payment is made and if there is still an opening in the classroom.

Past Due Accounts

  • The weekly fee is due in advance on Monday of each week. If the weekly fee is not paid by Friday of each week no later than 6:00pm, there may be a late payment fee of $5.00 assessed.
  • If a child’s account becomes 3 weeks overdue, the child will have to drop from our program and will not be able to return to until complete payment has been made. If the child’s place is filled before payment is made, the child may only return when a place becomes available.
  • If you see that you are falling behind in your payments, the best thing to do is to make an appointment with the Administrator to discuss a payment plan (before you get three weeks behind).

Late Pick Up Charges

  • The Half Day Program is over at 12:30pm. There will be a late fee of: $1.00 per minute for every minute after 12:30pm.
  • The School closes at 6:00pm sharp. Parents should plan on being at the school no later than 5:55pm to pick up their child.  There will be a late fee of:  $2.00 per minute if a parent notifies the school of late pickup or $3.00 per minute if a parent does not notify the school of late pickup.

Policy on Tardiness    IMPORTANT NEW POLICY!

  • All children must be in their classroom before 9:30am each day. 
  • After 9:30am, children will not be accepted for that day.
  • Children may be allowed to come in later than 9:30am if:
    1. Child had a doctor or dental appointment and the parent has a signed note from the doctor or dentist office.
    2. Parent has a WIC or ELC appointment and child must be in attendance. (proof required)
    3. Other important reasons may be excused; however this must be requested in advance. Requests must be made to in the school office.
Holidays

Haverhill Baptist Day School will be closed in celebration of the following Holidays:

  • Independence Day – Monday, July 4th,
  • Labor Day – Monday, September 5th,
  • Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, November 24th,
  • Day after Thanksgiving – Friday, November 25th,
  • Christmas Eve- Friday, December 23rd,
  • Christmas Day – Monday, December 26th      
  • New Year’s Day- Monday, January 2nd,
  • Good Friday- April 14th,
  • Memorial Day – Monday, May 29th
