April was born in the Bonx, New York and moved to Florida in 1999. She began her career in Early Childhood Education as assistant teacher in preschool in New York.
When April moved to Florida she attended the Palm BeachCommunity College and graduated with an A.S. degree in Early Childhood Education.She also has earned her Advanced Directors Credential through the State of Florida.
April began working as a preschool teacher here at HBDS in May 2000 and she has been promoted to Preschool Director in 2008.
April is married to Martin Camacho and has two daughters, Hope and Amanda. She also has a grandson, Dominick.
